“Kai Yufuin” opened last summer in Yufuin Hot Spring, Oita Prefecture. It is located in a beautiful original ecological terraced field. Looking down, you can see the majestic figure of Mount Yufu, and nearby is an idyllic rural scenery. The scenery of the four seasons is different and fascinating.

As one of the famous hot spring hotel brand “Jie” series, this hotel was designed under the supervision of architect Kengo Kuma. Buildings with thatched house-like shapes are scattered among the terraces, perfectly integrated with the surrounding natural scenery. This kind of guest room with local characteristics is called “Yataro House”, and it also adopts a special “firefly lighting” design – on an early summer night, the room seems to be emitting the faint light of fireflies, which is beautiful and moving.

“Kai Yufuin” has a total of six room types to choose from, four of which are equipped with indoor open-air hot springs. Kumamoto·Amakusa Matsushima, a small but luxurious hotel “Ten no Shikama” opened in early June. Its name comes from “Wabi Sabi” in Japanese aesthetic consciousness, which means that you can slowly savor the beauty of time here. The design of this newly opened hot spring hotel in early August is very clever, integrating the building where the guest rooms are located with the garden, giving people a wonderful feeling that “the hotel is the garden, and the garden is also the hotel”. Its name “Green House” means “dark green garden”, which has profound and beautiful meaning. It is located in Bessho Onsen, the oldest hot spring resort in Nagano Prefecture. It is known as “Kamakura of Shinshu”, which shows its long history.

The main garden “Green Wind Garden” was designed under the supervision of the famous Japanese landscape architect Kazuyuki Ishihara. A new hot spring hotel has opened on the shores of Lake Toya in Hokkaido – Lake Toya Tsuruga Nobu. It is located in the Soucho Hot Spring Village. It is about an hour and 20 minutes’ drive from New Chitose Airport and about 3.9 kilometers from Lake Toya. The transportation is convenient.
