Attraction introduction
【Serengeti】
The Serengeti is located in northwest Tanzania, covering an area of 14,750 square kilometers. It is a vast grassland ecosystem. Its name comes from the Maasai word “siringet”, which means “endless plains”. There are about 200,000 zebras, 300,000 antelopes, more than 3,000 lions, more than 1,000 cheetahs, more than 5,000 elephants, more than 4,000 giraffes, more than 15,000 warthogs, more than 200 rhinos, more than 500 hippopotamuses, more than 30 lions, more than 50,000 buffaloes, more than 3,500 spotted hyenas, and more than 500 kinds of birds.
Herbivores in the Serengeti “live in pursuit of water and grass.” Every year in May and June, more than a million wildebeests and zebras, and hundreds of thousands of gazelles migrate from the central plains to the western areas where there is water all year round. In July and August, they migrate from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara grasslands. “Thousands of troops and horses” forcibly crossed the Mara River. After a migration of nearly a thousand kilometers, more than a million wildebeests gather in the short grass plains of the southern Serengeti from January to March every year.
【Ngorongoro Crater】
Ngorongoro Crater, located in the heart of Africa, is known as the eighth wonder of the world and has another kind of breathtaking beauty. Ngorongoro volcano has existed on the earth for 8 million years. The last eruption about 2.5 million years ago gave birth to the current Ngorongoro Nature Reserve as a blessing in disguise. Ngorongoro Crater Reserve is located in northern Tanzania. It was listed as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage in 1979 and was awarded a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in 2005. It is a rare “composite heritage” attraction in the world. Ngorongoro Crater is the second largest crater in the world and the largest complete collapsed volcano in the world. When it was still active, multiple eruptions blew away the top of the volcano, leaving a perfect bowl-shaped crater. Grasslands, forests, hills, swamps and lakes are concentrated in this crater with a radius of 100 kilometers, forming a unique ecosystem that provides habitat for tens of millions of animals, especially rich bird resources.

【Highland Tent Hotel】
The Highlands is a luxury flagship hotel under the East African luxury hotel group Asilia Africa. It is located on the slopes of the Olmoti Crater in Tanzania’s most iconic “Ngorongoro Nature Reserve”. The world’s earliest tent spherical design comes from this hotel! The Highland Hotel has a unique location in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There are no other campsites nearby. You can go hiking to the nearby volcano crater. It is located in the forest surrounding the Olmoti Volcano (Olmoti Volcano) in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is about a 3-hour drive from the nearest Lake Manyara airstrip. 8 tents with a full alien feel are scattered in the depths of the jungle like crystal balls. At an altitude of three thousand meters, guests can overlook the magnificent plains of the Serengeti. The tent is made of canvas and glass, surrounded by lush vegetation and overlooking the surrounding hills. Lying under the stars at night is very romantic.
【&Beyond Canvas Tent Hotel】
As the ceiling of wild luxury hotels in Africa, hotels under the &Beyond Group have been selected into the Top 50 luxury hotels selected by the high-end travel magazine “Condé Nast Traveler” for many years. Tent hotels usually move four times a year to different directions in the Serengeti National Park. Choosing such a mobile camp means there is a greater chance of watching large-scale animal migrations up close. In Tanzania, each of the 6 hotels/camps opened by &Beyond is located in the core area of the reserve. There are only 9 campsites in one camp, ensuring that travelers can enjoy a private space comfortably and quietly, with every detail in place. The fully open tent allows people to fully integrate into nature and experience the ultimate charm of the African savannah.
【Nyaruswega Tented Hotel】
The Nyarosweiga Tented Hotel is a top wild luxury hotel in the central Serengeti. The hotel only opened in January 2017, so the room facilities are still very new. The hotel only has 14 luxury tents, but 60 employees provide services. There are people responsible for food, housekeeping (cleaning 3-4 times a day), safari, safety (because we occasionally encounter various animals), and a manager who is responsible for arranging various matters. The hotel’s 14 wild luxury tents have all the top configurations: open-air bathtubs, stargazing platforms, king-size beds, bronze bathtubs, elegant stoves, and the room design is full of African style. Intelligent solar hybrid power generation ensures 24-hour power supply, and reverse osmosis filtered water ensures cleanliness and environmental protection. The hotel has complete facilities, exquisite and tasteful decoration, wild and luxurious enough!
